Maria has an undergraduate degree in Educational Psychology from Birmingham Southern University & an MBA from UT - Arlington. With experience in legal, telecommunications, & website development industries, she discovered her true passion for owning a preschool. She is dedicated to providing a nurturing daycare & educational environment where children grow into lifelong learners. She values the benefits of high-quality childcare & preschool, as both her children graduated from The Goddard School. Butch holds a graduate degree from IUP in College Administration & an MBA from Duke University. After a career in higher education, he transitioned to the telecommunications industry. He is actively involved in the community, serving on the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Our faculty combines expertise and dedication to deliver exceptional childcare, preschool, and kindergarten readiness programs. Our experienced lead teachers have an education degree or certifications.

Cindy

Cindy has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and a Masters Degree in Education from Texas State University. Cindy has been in the child care and educational field for over 18 years in both the public and private school settings. Cindy taught in Austin ISD for 4 years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher and transitioned to a Literacy Specialist before making a move to Pittsburgh. In Pittsburgh, Cindy began working at The Goddard School in Peters Township. She started working in the Toddler classroom, then became the Kindergarten teacher and ended her 5 year tenure as a Director. She enjoys the constant quest for knowledge that children bring and loves children's curiosity. You never know what they are going to say next! Cindy moved back to Texas in the summer of 2017 and became the Operational Director at the Goddard School in Cedar Park.

Angela

Angela is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point in youth programming and camp management, possesses over a decade of dedicated service to children's enrichment. Commencing her career at 18, she garnered diverse experience with youth organizations in the Midwest and Arizona before her relocation to Texas. Angela has since flourished with the Girl Scouts of Central Texas, continuously showcasing her commitment to empowering young minds. Her contributions extend to the academic sphere, including student teaching in first grade within the Round Rock Independent School District and a role as a math camp counselor. Angela's journey embodies a harmonious union of academic excellence and practical expertise, making her a formidable presence in the realm of after-school care and youth development.
Leila

Ms. Leila is the Assistant Director of Curriculum at The Goddard School of Cedar Park. Originally a lawyer from Caracas, Venezuela, she moved to Texas with her family in 2006 and has been passionate about early childhood education ever since. She began her career as a teacher and, since 2016, has served as a Curriculum Coordinator, supporting educators in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Ms. Leila is dedicated to our mission of excellence, working closely with both staff and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Triste

Ms. Triste is the Assistant Director of Operations at The Goddard School of Cedar Park. She is thrilled to be part of such a wonderful team and to continue helping our school provide exceptional benefits to both our families and staff. Originally from Minnesota, she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been deeply involved in the field for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with children of all ages in preschools and even had her own in-home childcare. In addition to her teaching experience, Triste has taken on various leadership roles, including serving as a Girl Scout leader and working in the AVID department at the middle school level. Triste is passionate about nurturing young minds and ensuring that every child receives the tools they need for a bright future. She looks forward to continuing to contribute to the growth and success of Goddard School of Cedar Park!

Meet Ms. Britney, a dynamic childcare professional igniting young minds with a passion for exploration since 2020, delighting in their natural curiosity about the world. Beyond the classroom, she embraces her own sense of adventure through hiking, loses herself in the enchanting realms of fantasy literature, continuously seeks knowledge, and finds solace in the melodies of song.
Celeste

Introducing our dedicated Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Celeste, who has been nurturing young minds in childcare since 2007. With a double major in Education and Anthropology from the University of Texas at Brownsville, she is passionate about fostering a love of learning. She particularly treasures the magical moments when children discover the joy of reading independently. Outside the classroom, she enjoys running, cooking, and embarking on outdoor adventures with her family, bringing her enthusiasm for exploration into both her personal and professional life.

Beyond the classroom, you'll find him immersed in composing, producing, and performing music, as well as enjoying leisurely park days with his two beloved dogs, mastering the art of juggling, exploring new destinations, and nurturing his green thumb in the garden.

My name is Etienne Salgado, and I’ve worked in early childhood education for 14 years, teaching children from infancy through Kindergarten. While I’ve enjoyed working with all age groups, my passion is in Pre-K and Kindergarten, where I help lay the foundation for academic and social-emotional growth. I strive to create a warm, engaging, and structured environment where children feel safe and excited to learn. I’m dedicated to hands-on, play-based learning and building strong relationships with both children and families.
