He holds a BA – Biology from The University of Texas – Austin, and an MD from The University of Texas Medical School – Houston. He did his internship in Family Practice at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Subsequently, he completed residences n General and Child Psychiatry at UTHCSC-Houston.
